Policy Writing 101 Workshop
TSPN is kicking off the new year with another workshop in our 101 series!
This workshop focuses on policy writing, which will be led by Hema Vyas, a Professional Policy Advisor. She will lead participants through the basics of how to write policy. Participants will then have the chance to practice their writing during the workshop and receive feedback from the workshop instructor.

ABOUT HEMA:
Hema Vyas is an experienced community leader in public, private, and non-profit sectors. She holds a BA from Queen’s University, a BEd from the University of Toronto, and a MSc in Planning and Development from the University of Guelph. She has extensive government policy experience as a senior policy advisor and as co-founder of WomenWinTO, an organization dedicated to preparing diverse women to run winning municipal election campaigns. Hema currently serves on the boards of Working Women Community Centre and Open Democracy Project.
